Holiday during basic training?
I'm assuming this is a no-no? My son has passed his interviews at AFCO and the med questionnaire; he has to ring back about his selection when he's finished his GCSE's (about 2wks). We were booking a large family holiday for November - he's been told if selection goes ok, he'll probably be off for b...

Hi, Let the Medical Team know, as they will ask for the GPs Medical file on your son. If you dont let them know, your son could go to Pirbright and then get rejected on medical basis, that first morning. Dont give up hope, Im half deaf in my right ear, and the Doctors passed me, it was a wait, but ...

Another medical question - ears!
Have done a search, but can't find anything relevant ... wondered if anyone in the medical-know could help, or maybe provide a link? My son plans on joining the army next year. 5yrs ago he had a myringoplasty with no trouble since. His hearing was 96% after the op. He's just had an ear infection for...

Medical query (IBD)
Hello
Just wondered if IBD (in this case, Crohns Disease) was still a no-no to join the T.A? Understandable if it is, but wondered if guidelines changed over time at all?
Thanks

The Writer's and Artist's Yearbook is a comprehensive list of all agents and publishers, published and updated every year. I found it very helpful but sadly only managed to get published on a writer's website! The wbesite is very informative too and critique work for you. They're at www.jbwb.co.uk :)

Military/NHS Hospitals and Placements...
I've googled til I'm blue in the face; a couple of military mates drew a blank, so I'm asking on here in the hope someone in the know reads it :-? Do military hospitals still exist, or are they all Military Units within NHS hospitals? I'm a second year student nurse and have the chance to do an elec...

Caught a couple of episodes, I found that really eye-opening...even though I had a couple of mates in there at that time, I'm still a bit shocked at what was involvedJeberdiah Klink wrote:Its on all day, back to back till 11pm tonight.
