Brothers in the RM

Does anyone know the RMs policy on brothers serving together or where I could find such information.Id call and ask myself,but im more than a couple thousand miles away in Canada.Help would be great,thanks.

Are there any other eye exams after the initial medical? Im thinking if I would be able to have lasik done in the time between the test and prmc or between prmc and basic.

Are you free to have it done once your in?

You'll need to see your doctor about that either way.I suggest going to a sports clinic if it all possible.It may be as simple as needing new runners.Orthotics are a last resort type of fix,as they can be very expensive.Mine cost over $500.

Ive been to a doctor and have gotten orthotics.They will help in the long run but have done nothing but complicate things so far.They're hard getting used to.

Running after an injury

Anyone have a good running plan coming off a lower leg injury or shin splints? I tried to run 10 mins 3 times a week but was getting sore and would have to ice my legs down each night.I think I may need to slow it down abit,so heres what im thinking of now. If I was turned down because of my eye sight,you better beleive it is.One last shot at getting in vs wearing glasses on civvie street as I already do now,seems like a fair trade.

Ive heard and read that the military will actualy pay for the lasik to be done.Anyone know anymore about this or how you would be able to have this done for you?

If the RM is what you want then join the RM.You dont have to be built like a tank to pass training.The training is built around muscle endurance,train properly and you will be fine.
