Easily answered. Ring and ask about the eye sight requirements. No strings attached. Tom163 - your info is duff.

Mikey101 - Again ring and ask - they wont bite. Unless you are ex-reg (recent) or have passed CIC you will go and do TA inf stuff first anyway and they will get you fit!

Sleamaker's book is a good book and I agree with not beasting yourself everyday and that no weight and low intensity are vital.

KP - Again, stop putting across you're VIEWS like they are fact.

Upfront and honest?? Since when has joining 21 been about that? Its all about the stories and rumours.. 'Hills were higher in my day', 'selection was harder', 'one guy was swallowed by a bog', 'loads of AT oppertunities'... etcetc. In fact everything is an illusion.. I'm not even sure 21 exists... O...

Not sure if this is a wah or not but as it is actually written in a comprehendable manner (which is more than I can say for my own writing) I'm going to suggest a few answers. 1) Yes humans pass, no you dont have to be a super fit freak, no you dont have to run 10 miles in 60 minutes. 2) Look on the...

Anyone notice that they are actually allowed to go out the door themselves rather than be 'encouraged' by the guiding hands of a PJI?

Yea - everything you posted seems reasonable. I dont think the exact details really matter to anyone whi isn't doing it. Ref the 'two weeks off'. I admit I may have made that sound more holiday like than I should have done. PM sent anyway.

I believe...(note the key phrase everyone) that there might be some slight irregularities in your note there druadan, although the gist of it seems fairly sound. After test week there is 1-2 weeks off for the lads when the officers are doing their week etc before the jungle. The jungle is 6 weeks no...

Isn't continuation really the Jungle..? After you're badged you would join a squadron and continue to develop your skills, or was there something specific you meant by 'continuation'?

Why don't you just ask the question here? I cant really think of any question on selection that is going to breech opsec or anything.. You might get the answer through PM, there are probably people here that know about it even if they are not current or ex regiment. But mainly I just want to know wh...
