They'll talk about your daughter's homelife, school, hobbies/interests, motivation for joining the Navy and the job she has applied for. They'll ask what her parents/friends think of her joining. She'll also be asked about what will be expected of her in training, ie what does she know about the tra...

So I went to see them yesterday (Tuesday). It happened to be a training night as they said, and they invited me to a visit for an interview. They invited you for a visit and interview at another time or that evening? What did they tell you about training? Did they say there is a two week alternativ...

I thought the Forces in Afghanistan were sporting beards these days because local Afghanis expect men to have beards, so it's a part of the "hearts&minds" to have British Forces with beards too. ARen't the beards some sort of show of respect to the locals, nothing to do with being &quo...

Sounds like more people should have a crack at RMAD before heading off to PRMC, if for no other reason than to reaffirm their readiness. I wonder how many of the "harsher" PRMCs had high numbers of participants, is it just a way of weeding more people out? Good effort EA.

Security reasons perhaps. Unsecured vehicles of serving British military personel seems a tempting target for terrorists.

Have a look at this pdf, it's 3 years out of date mind.

http://www.assoc-optometrists.org/uploa ... 4-navy.pdf
If I read that correctly you only have to make VA3 for RM.
