They had a third Bismarck/Tirpitz class battleship under construction which was apparently undergoing conversion to a carrier but never got completed. If my memory serves me correctly it was going to be called the Graf Zeppelin.

Radiation ain't that bad either , people in Japan and even the Ukraine seem to be doing okay. Imagine if we'd used a few old left over atom splitting fat mans and little boys on Osama Bin Ladden in the Shi kot? If the blast didn't get him the radiation would have , and the bad guys wouldn't be able...

So you're proposing that all the engineers and scientists in the US, Soviet/Russian and Chinese programmes have been conned into working on projects that aren't actually happening and that no one has spilled the beans over the course of nearly 40 years of manned space flight?

The International Space Station is higher than 20 miles above the surface and the occupants seem OK.

Bovie The Euro fighter can not be used on a carrier, not even on the new ones that they might build.
