Re: Is being 23, too old to join??
I joined at 23, was one of the oldest in my Platoon at the time. Granted this was back in 1993. Being older is an advantage, life experience and all that type of thing. If your fitness is good then you should be able to keep up with the youngsters and you can be a level head when things get rough. I...

Re: Pulling my hair out.
Well you have just described every recruit I have every seen come through the system. Its very strange how kids turn up and Grown ups leave. If he wants this then he will do what he has to do. Military discipline and an end goal will either make him or break him. Let him go for it if he doesnt make ...

Re: How does Army medical screening work..
The Recruiter has a list of medical conditions that make you ineligble. If yousay yes to any of theses he can stop your aaplication there and then, or he can put you forward to a Medical depending on how you seem to him. If your recruiter decides to say No you can always ask to speak to the office m...

4 years three months is minimum length of service. Over 18 you have a option to leave within the first 28 days of Phase one training. Under 18 and I think its six months with parents permission.

Maybe its because you are 90 days over your alloted 19 as a non deploying soldier f@#k knuckle!!!!!!!!!!!!!
