It's all been a bit hectic Harry, press conference went very very well, and the Sun (I know, I know! but you've got to dance with the devil sometimes) have been all out to promote it. It really is flying off the shelves on the download sites. No figures yet but the 'popularity' level is top of the s...

Funny enough, speaking of the abandoned soldier; I rang Mr Malone last night and invited him to the press conference to launch the record which is being held at the Imperial War Museum. Yorkie more than most understands what this is about having experienced the trip down south in 2002. Any other vet...

Mark Knopfler: Brothers in Arms - Falklands 25.

Mark Knopfler, his management team and Universal Music/Mercury Records have all forgone any claim on royalties. That means that around 70% of a...

I also knew Taff Pascoe, he was and old fashioned soldier. even though he was by that stage a 'blanket stacker' I would put his platoon alongside any within any infantry regiment. The intensity of the training was unimaginable for the RAOC at that time. One funny story I recall about him was this. A...

What do you mean by decorated ? I note that you have GSM after your name on the cover. Is this the General Service Medal - EG Northern Ireland or a completely different GSM ? I'm only aware of the one GSM - I stand to be corrected - in which case its a bit of an exaggeration to refer to holding the ...
