SF use C8's which is 5.56 and are moving away from that to 7.62 (cant remember the name of the actual weapon system) but it has a better stopping power!

There are supposed to be two apptitude/selections a year lasting about two weeks. Mainly the GD guys have to have come from FPG however guys with SQ's such as Mortars go on the apptitude from Regular units. hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on Jungle training...Ive used a search but couldn't really find anything.

How often do the Royal Marines do Jungle training? Is it as often as Artic warfare training etc.
