Lower pay band. only technical SQ's like VM's, teltechs etc are on the higher pay band.

SF use C8's which is 5.56 and are moving away from that to 7.62 (cant remember the name of the actual weapon system) but it has a better stopping power!

There are supposed to be two apptitude/selections a year lasting about two weeks. Mainly the GD guys have to have come from FPG however guys with SQ's such as Mortars go on the apptitude from Regular units. Yeah fair one! Lifes good, nearly 4 years gone in the Corp now, its flown by. Ive met a few good friends through this website, and done some good stuff through the Corp so I cant complain!

hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on Jungle training...Ive used a search but couldn't really find anything.

How often do the Royal Marines do Jungle training? Is it as often as Artic warfare training etc.

Just to add another point to davos point...I have just done a year at 6 form and I've come out with an A-Level in Business and an AS Level in ICT. It was hard work workin my studies around training for PRMC and training, but it CAN be done! And as Davo said I now have a fall back option if something...
