It's best effort hun. It's for the heaves, static lift and another type of lift. AFCO should have a DVD for you to watch before you go up and we were also given a booklet with what we would need to take with us and the itinerary for the two days Hey, so is the best effort test a pass/fail? I was told that your results for the BARB test are put together with the qualifications you already have and then they are able to work out what jobs you are eligible for.
I got given my results and had them explained too, I thought it was out of so many but I was told, 'attempted __ got ___ correct'

The AFCO have told me they want me to appeal too. Determination or not though if I can't pass the medical I'm not going to get in, I mean everyone has a right to appeal don't they. Going to keep training and see what happens when I get my letter next week and have spoken to doctor. I took today off ...

What surface are you running on Becci? My application is going well, had to run and do press ups and sit ups last week, I didn't think I'd done that well but I'm being put for selection in the next few weeks. My training is going to be a little off this week though, I got a tattoo down my side today...

Went to this thing today, wasn't a club but an assesment. Still very well organised and something I will return to. It went like this, this time anyway - Arrive, warm-up, 1.5m run, pressups max 2min, situps max 2min and home. Lasted an hour if not a bit more, definetly worth going mind. Is this som...

Thank you so much for the advice guys, just what I needed to know. I actually called in to the office earlier and mentioned this to them, I was told to just work on my sit ups, press ups and running and I'd be fine. The thing is, I've read somewhere that in ADSC you have to lift about 55kg, this isn...
