Quick question people, can you be trained as a helicopter pilot within the TA? or is it something reserved for 'full time' due to cost issues etc?

Helicopter training?
Just a quick one, sorry if this is completely in the wrong topic but can anyone let me know if you can be training to fly a helicopter in the RMR?

i just wanted to ask, with the reg TA is there an oppertunity to specilise as a sniper or anything close protection related.

Firstly please don't assume i'm only interested in money i just wanted to ask some of you who have experience a question reqrding reserves pay. After (or even during) training for the RMR. This may sound like a strange question and i don't want to quit before i've started but i wanted to know, after the initial training for RMR how much time is required for reserves to serve ?? i.e. do you sign on for 3 years and have to be de-ployable throughout this time period ??
