Quick question people, can you be trained as a helicopter pilot within the TA? or is it something reserved for 'full time' due to cost issues etc?

i just wanted to ask, with the reg TA is there an oppertunity to specilise as a sniper or anything close protection related.

This may sound like a strange question and i don't want to quit before i've started but i wanted to know, after the initial training for RMR how much time is required for reserves to serve ?? i.e. do you sign on for 3 years and have to be de-ployable throughout this time period ??

Thanks for the swift reply there mate. I have researched into this lately and found SAS 21 have (among MANY other things) a good CP reputation.
