Utter rubbish Nothing has been moved through the courts in SA yet. NI number will be issued six weeks before you go to Phase One training, you may not get a NHS number but you dont need one to join. The whole process takes between 3-6 months depending on what trade you choose. I myself am from Sout...

Maybe you could be a combat engineer? I dont know much about all the jobs available, talk with your recruiter and tell them what you're interested in thats the best advice.

Only once you reach lance jack and higher does your pay become higher band. Otherwise like me, you take home £820 a month....wooooh! Just saw this post. Is this really the pay for a private in the Army now. Man that sounds bad. I can earn more than that on a weekend in overtime. No wonder man...

Yeah I'd like to know as well, what were the first weeks like, what was the furthest run you did and everything else you can tell us.

Good luck with your DAOR and whatever you pursue in the future.

I've read a few times its not advised to run with weight as you could injure yourself, rather go for long walks with weight. You need to know how much weight and how to safely pack it for a run, so maybe stay away from it unless you get professional advice. Well done on your run time though its very...

Hey Trev I'm doing that at the moment, it makes sense that its better for you, since if you keep running a set distance and improve on your time for that distance each time you'll be running for a shorter period of time and thus not working your body as much. I've started using this programme I foun...

The Royal Engineers is a Corps not a regiment. There are a lot of jobs/trades, most people dont think to search the army mod site.

More detail to each trade look here:
