I wonder if you young blokes are aware that GORDON HURST,who played many years with Charlton Athletic,was a RM stationed at Sandwich in Kent,and was known as DANTE. You see, Dante won the Epsom Derby in 1945 and it was considered that if Gordon had four legs, he could have won.

At least i can establish it was a Sunday in 1945.
