You do not even get para pay in Recce Troop always anymore. As for having markedly different pay between Para/Marine and regular army i am not saying that at all but i do think that there should be something. I don't see why not, the amount of action we are seeing in Afghan! Yes SF do a lot more action in peace times but thats not what we are in just now. And Besides In Royal at least SF used to just be an SQ like an other and the pay varied very little(Parachute pay).

Yup, All the commando tests are exactly the same. However with the 2 week course being so compressed you do not get a rest day like the regular recruits do on the sunday.
