Would you have the same advice and smart ass reply if i was called up to serve alongside you and i just happened to save your arse...doubt it. Reserve forces are now a huge part of the UKs military manpower wether you like it or not and if someone joining the reserves cant ask a regular some advice ...

Yes. I doubt there would be any problem changing to another trade/are of RAF, afterall you havent even really started the selection process so you are not tied in anyway. Speak to the AFCO about it i'm sure they'l tell you the same.

hi mate, i am currently going through the process of joining 603 squadron. I'v so far passed interviews, tests and medical now i am just waiting on my attestation date and then that'l be me. If it is the same one, then it's called Fighting Fit. Tells you about training,techniques,nutrition and tests. Apparantly they have stopped making them now but i got a copy from my local library, they had a few infact! So i would try there, would probably be your best bet.
