I spoke with 23 a while ago. The upper age limit is fairly flexible to a point. There's no way they'll take you if you're too close to 40 though. Why? The para training (if you get that far). Ask adj125 - i think it was him. He was 45 when he started selection the first time. He got badged the same day he got his bus pass.
