Has anyone had any experience with the Military Provost Guard Service (MPGS) and what they exactly do (I know that they stag on... :-? )

Apart from the recruitment pack info and their presence on the WWW there is very little info on this branch of the AG Corps and hope that someone out there will have some gen!

Full time reservists is the best description I have had. They are full time but in a static location, they can only move if they want to. Same benefits as regulars etc...

There's some at RAF Church Fenton where i used to go to cadets and to be fair they do sod all!

Don't take that the wrong way, i'm sure at other bases and locations they're probably alot more active (bear in mind Church Fenton is barely operational).

Just what i've seen of em, lots of watching TV and pushing the button the lift the gate up.

Just watching telly and pressing a button - why not, for the same rates of pay minus the X-factor...

Cushy life!

Might be an idea to do it, better then being on the dole!! :drinking:

As I said, there is little info in the web - that, I have read tons o times, I thought more of the liike....I know about and can say...

Anyhow, action is for youngsters and those still super fit.

I did a good six years, 3 of those on ops and seven years as a paramedic. All I want is a safe n secure job, a decent lifestyle and a pension at the end...

All guts n glory Adam... ;)
