Been meaning to introduce this topic for a while now, but here goes.
On this day.....
in 1815, Napoleon escaped from Elba to begin round two, "This time it`s personal"
in 1915, flame throwers used for the first time when Herman`s 3 guard pioneers, toasted a few Kermits at Malancourt
in 1993 a bomb in the World Trade Center killed six and injured one thousand
of more interest to those who can" stand, and be still"...
in 1852, the troopship Birkenhead sank off Simon`s Bay South Africa, with the loss of 485 souls.
Over to you, "genuine" posts please. Tossers will be binned.
