Models For Heroes

Hi folks.
I run Models for Heroes. A new charitable organisation that donates scale model kits and materials to military personnel recovery charities across the UK.
I'm a keen scale modeller and after talking to fellow modellers it was quite clear that alot of ex-servicemen found the hobby through therapy for PTSD and Spinal injuries. After investigation I found a charity in the USA called Models for Troops. They supply Models to VA hospitals. I contact them and found there is no charity devoted to providing scale model kits to the UK military recovery charities....until now.
We receive donations from sympathetic hobby modellers, model clubs and model shops willing to part with their unbuilt models in order to benefit recovery of our wounded.
We have a crowdfunding site that finishes soon and a website with much more information. You can find us on Facebook and Twitter.

Thanks for reading and your thoughts on the project will be appreciated
