army insight courses

Hi guys, I'm looking to attend the AFC Harrogate next year after my exams, but I am stuck between two regiments, my local regiment, the royal regiment of Scotland and the parachute regiment. I believe the only way in finding out what one is the best for me would be to go on their insight course. I'm just wondering if anyone has been on them and has it encouraged you to join or has it put you off joining that regiment. And also what age do you have to be to attend these insight course. Any information would be great help and appreciated, cheers
