Want to join army but also want to be a pilot

Hi. For a while I have wanted to join the army, but I also wanted to be a pilot, and if I'm in the army ofcourse I couldn't train. So what I was thinking was joking the army, then after a few years joking the raf, were i could get pilot lessons so when I leave the military I will be trained and can join a commercial airline.
I wasn't sure if this would be possible though, so I was wondering if you guys could help, thank you.

Yeah...
You don't just get to have pilot lessons if you join the RAF you know, you have to pass an awful lot of selection and aptitude tests, and they only take the very best out of the thousands that apply.
Why don't you look at the Army Air Corps and maybe being a helicopter pilot? You'd still have to pass all the aptitude tests and everything, and all the air law exams etc as well though...

If it sounds like I just want to join the raf just for the lessons, I'm not, I would like to fly for the rad, it's just I also want to be a soldier
