Lads,

I was just barred from entering the royal marines after months of training due to having "posterior tibialis sydrome" not shin splints but a problem with the muscles in my legs that was caused from having flat feet, however it is now fine, but as of 1 hour ago i have been told to bugger off.

So i look towards what would have been my original choice had i known your swimming requirements, will this type of biomechanical injury bar me from entry here to?

Cheers.

The two have similar high standards so you may well find yourself refused there also.
If you've been barred entry there must be a good reason for this, and I'd imagine you'll find the same in a similar sort of regiment.

all services have more or less the same bar on entry. consult with your doctor then approach the careers office. you may get 'lucky' in that your case is refered to head shed and they weigh up the pros and cons and decide your ok for training.
