Can you get refused entry because of you teeth ? Mine aint in great condition I have some missing teeth and chips can you get refused because of this ? I heard you can ?

I might be talking a load of shite here now...if so please forgive me. But I think that it has something to do with gum disease and its link to heart attacks. As I say...I might have made that up but ask your AFCO, im sure they will put you in the picture

Yes you can. You need to be medically fit and dentally fit to join any of the forces. However, you can always visit the dentist to sort it out once you know what is required.

You get free dental care once you are in. However, there is a standard to be achieved at the recruitment stage and if you are below this you will be required to sort it out yourself prior to entering service.

It would be a sign of self neglect and if you have problems there and have failed to do any thing about it could you have other problems that would show up on a medical

Nah beinn od medication 3year and got jumped by aload of thugs kiked in the face and beat up n scared of dentists unless I have sumone with me lol

If you are afraid to go to the dentist on your own are you sure that you are right for the forces. These days with all the pain killing injections you don't feel a thing, yet when I was a lad you just sat in the chair and hung on for grim death as they drilled away with out any thing for the pain, so if you come across a older person who dislikes going to the dentist then you know the reason why
