Just wondered...

How many British Troops serve in N.Ireland currently???

Any particular Regiments or Corps??

Is a Campaign Medal still awarded for serving in N.Ireland nowdays?

There are lots or regiments based over here, we are part ok the UK (even tho some people act like we're not) Some example are the Rifles have battilions based here in Ballykindler etc, just like the Royal Irish is based in England.

There's no soildiers walking the streets these days like.

Also i'm sure a quick search on google would give you what you need.

Not everything has a point, I was reminiscing.

The South Armagh Brigade were some of the most prolific and gifted boys in one of the most dangerous areas of N. Ireland to serve. Hence the nick name. Respected by everyone who did a tour there.
