THE BIGGEST DAY OUT IN HISTORY

Fresh from a £16m investment in new exhibitions & facilities, there’s never been a better time to marvel at the world’s broadest and best collection of tanks.

With almost 200 vehicles in 6 large halls, you will come face-to-face with tanks that have seen action in all the major wars of the 20th century.

New for 2009 - The Tank Story tells the story of the tank from its invention to the present day. A modern and state of the art exhibition in a new 50,000 sq ft display hall brings the story of the tank and its crew to life like never before. The Trench Experience allows you to walk in the footsteps of a World War One solider from the recruiting office to the front line. In the Discovery Centre you will see the full depth of our unique and historic collections.

See our website for more information on upcoming events and tank displays in our redeveloped arena.

The Tank Museum is open daily – 10.00 am to 5.00pm.
Closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day 2010.

I have actually been there, it's quite good and interesting. We went there as with my college but it had no link to what we was studying but a good day all the same. Oh and the swing ride outside in the kids playground is fun!
