Right i lost my mate in iraq in 2006, and ive wanted to get a tattoo for him as a rememberance, my mate did a photoshop with the Duke Of Lancasters Cap badge with his name in etc, now the question is, would this offend anyone in the regiment as i dont really want to do this?
Thanks

If you have been in the Regiment it would not be the done thing to do.. Why not knock up some thing about him up on the computer print it off and then frame it.

I think the cap badge idea sounds quite good, Personally i dont think it would offend anyone, Your just showing respect wheres the harm in that.

Which Regiment is that then Tab?
I wouldn't recommend a capbadge of any kind if you haven't worn it yourself; something more personal would perhaps be better...bear in mind YOUR relationship with him, rather than his 'other' life as it would appear to you. If that makes sense.
