goodluck on your AST mate. it depends with every AFCO on how much time there is between, but im sure it isnt all the same.

my interview was about 2-3 weeks after my AST. i wore a suit to my first interview, giving the maxium impressions i could. best idea is to read up on your trade;- any history on the RAF. past and present. locations. also you will need to tell them about yourself, family, work, hobbies etc.
(i wrote down little notes like, falklands, akrotiri, WW2 etc. and given dates and so on, it helped me so it might help you. so just research)

i did come across an 8 page book on the RAF site, regarding the ETHOs, http://www.raf.mod.uk/role/ethosvaluesstandards.cfm
start here - http://www.raf.mod.uk/organisation/

if you need anymore info mate. PM me.
best regards and good luck.
Brett
