hi im new here but it would be cool if someone could give me some straight answers about being a combat medical technician
im not in the army, and im currently unemployed and looking for work
i've always thought about the army as something i'd like to do but from some of the things i've been looking at i get the impression that all i'd end doing is filing and admin. i understand that with any proffesion you would do a work experience placement, but im really keen to get out there and help

any advice would be brilliant
cheers

We have our very own CMT (or soon to be at least) knocking about on here occasionally, he is a bit of a strange fish ( ) but try giving Stinky a PM.

I too am considering serving as a CMT. Can you tell me about the training and the life etc. What you've done etc?

Sorry that's a little broad but I'd like to hear everything.

Sorry druadan but 1. a strange fish? and 2. i'm sorry I thought I posted this but maybe I didn't. They took us off the course because the smarties didn't book the places before they all got taken up by the new intake. Now there's another offer apprently but I'm not taking it because I'm the GPMG gunner now...GET SOME!!!!!!
