BARB Test scores.

Just a quick question,
I notice some people know exactly what their BARB Test score was. After I did my BARB I wasn't told what I had scored I was just given two sheets of paper with jobs that I'm able to do. There were 79 jobs on the list, does this mean my score was 79? or is there another way of scoring?

Would love to see what the only job offer is if you scored '1' on your test!

(think I've left the door wide open for slaggings with that comment!)

You have to ask for your score at the end mate, I don't know why they don't tell you, but they don't. You have to ask for it.
That's bollocks about if you get below 60 you don't get ANY jobs. I think if you get below 25 or somthing like that you dont get any jobs, 60 + is a good score...

hey mate, on the sheets you where given it says Gti, this is your score, i cant fully remember but it says gti next to each job thats the score you need for that specific job, and i believe it says gti at the top with your score?

I can see the GTI column and the scores next to every job but there is no specific score for myself on the sheet.
The highest score I can see next to any of the jobs is 60 for military police so im presuming I got at least 60.???

If RMP is on your list you got above 60.
Your job list also looks at your GCSEs scores some jobs you need them some jobs you dont.
23 is the lowest score that will give you Infantry only!

im got a 72 yesterday but my gcse's are crap so i only picked 4 jobs
out of a list.
1-Parachute regiment
2-Royal Armoured Corps
3-Para Combat Medic
4-Signals
Any help with what the Royal Armoured Corps do would be great because i need to know more before i decide.

The Royal Armoured Corps in a nut shell means tanks. In years passed Cavalry was the shock arm of an army but also used for recce, screening and escorting.
When horse became outdated as a weapon, (Great War onwards), tanks became the shock weapon and armoured formations resembled what the Corps is in the modern age - A mobile shock weapon, complete with recce and attached artillery and infantry support, just like the cavalry of old, combined arms are needed to win an engagment.
For more info on tank warfare look at the second world war and how Germany perfected this powerful weapon and for better details on the RAC visit the Army website.
