ITC on July 12

hi
I just got a starting date to start basic, July 12. Is anyone else going there. Is any one is starting training in my platoon on the same day? It would be nice not to be a total stranger when I start

Hey Pankey, I've just done the initial 6 weeks of training, and I started off not knowing a single person, apart from the chap i met on the train on the way up, I'm pretty sure You'll meet a few lads on the train, It's not that bad starting of not knowing people, i warn you their will be a few people there you wont like.. if you go up not knowing any one, you get to be a bit choosy

thanks jstagg. its just i thought if i knew somebody before we could talk abou actually preparation for basic. but i guess it won't be so bad

Nah it's a breeze mate, you'll meet people on the train and they become your Oppo's even if your not in the same section. don't worry every ones in the same boat as you so there's nothing to be worried about.
