Hi all,
New to forum so apologies if this question has been asked already, I've looked about but couldn't find an answer.
What is the current requirements for PGAC Swimming test?
I did a PGAC in 2003 and just had to swim 4 lenghts of the pool at Honnington. Has it changed?

My mate down at honnington tells me the swimming pool is out of use for around 12months because of a problem with the roof making the building dangerous or something, so im not sure if the swimming tests etc will still be on?
Anyone else shed anymore light on this?

its easiest thing ever. i can remember doing mine years ago, still makes me chuckle the amount of dimwits out there. some lads even when asked right up to the point of diving in if there was anybody who COULDNT swim, dived or should say belly flopped in then surfaced starting flappin about and shouting 'I CANT SWIM!!!!' the mind boggles.

Can anybody who has done a PGAC recently tell what they had to do in the swimming test?

righto lads just to clear up the pgac swimming test is straight after your bleep test (shuttle run) and its a 50 meter swim so my advice is make sure you are hittin the pool after you go for runs as you will notice how much it knackers you after running, and for any one who has no concept of distance its 2 lengths of your average swimming pool,
oh and you can use any stroke as long as your not on your back and dont lie about being able to swim tell them and they may teach you there and then
