Aux Reg Gunner to Officer Question

Hi,
I was contemplating going for gunner which i have the fitness for and whilst undergoing the training for this completing a BTEC National which would allow me the qualifications to switch to officer. Could anyone advise me whether this is an easy situation where you can complete gunner training then go to officer training or is there a major hassle involved?
