I know at the min they issue the hi-tecs which recruits say are actually good and quite comfy, but Ive heard off that arrse website that the Army will be issuing the pt-03 trainers now. Does anyone know if this is true?

When i was a recruit we were actively encouraged to get specialised running trainers, if you had a tendency to over pronate as you ran etc. otherwise we had to use what we were issued with as high street fashion trainers were a big NO - NO !

Foshy, your advised to take your own sports kit, Trainers, shorts & Tshirt because you'll be going on adventure weekends and your best of not taking your own issued kit.

For the trainers I'm taking my normal ones there not running shoes or anything like that just some lacoste's kind of like fashion ones (not them gay pumps or anything) do they have to be running etc shoes? the PT-03 look like good training shoes so I was going to use them for all my PT

not my own like.

They look pretty good. Cost about £70 to buy in the shops so they can't be that bad.
