You're in training, so as far as I'm aware, no. They are Royal Marines, you are not as yet

Not really good advice he will only end up getting filled in, charged or both. All pubs in Catterick and Richmond are out of bounds too recruits and most wont let them in Darlo.

Crikey, Four? Sounds suspiciously like hard work to me... I bet you have to get up at some ungodly hour like 8:30am as well?
I guess I could just about manage that though, just as long as the Provo Sgt comes round and wakes us up with a biscuit and a nice cup of cocoa!

If he does not mate, ring that prat up and tell him what you think of the twat. He also has to press your uniform. Take it down to the Guard room and return in an hour, you know like when you get your pictures printed.

I know what you mean, the Platoon Sergeant and the section commanders are like..........well your brothers. You can kick them up the arse, slap them around the head, call them silly names and generally treat them like the village idiots.
Try it, they really like and enjoy the banter.
