I've noticed to be an engineer in the RAF, one of the requirements is a degree. In mechanics I'm guessing?
Also, would the Air Force pay for your degree at uni if you didn't do A-Levels, etc?

Did you know you can be an engineer in the Marines, they have their own unit after 32 weeks training, but they are not the best, paras are.

Revol,
To be an engineering officer you require an engineering degree. You could look at Welbeck College instead of A-levels, or apply for a bursary from the RAF to go to university.
If you want to be a technician doing the hands on maintenance and repairs of aircraft and equipment, no degree is required. I think for this it is 5 GCSE's including a science based subject, English Language and Maths.
