Hello all, just thought I would give a progress report to all those that might be interested. I have posted on here before, and I might have mentioned then that I had a knee injury that could call curtains on any military career!
Well I am happy to say that I got the results of my MRI scan which showed no damage to ligaments or, more importantly the cartilage. So I finally put my application in on the 01/12/07 (online), and got a call back yesterday 11/01/08 to go in to my local AFCO to discuss my options and press on to the next stage.
I believe that this 'meeting' is just to go over my application and speak with someone from my regiment of choice (Scots Guards). So my question is this, is this an informal meeting/interview? If so, should i go smart (shirt, tie), also do you think i should be 'swatting' up on my regimental history and such?
Thanks in advance for your help
Matthew.
