Show your stuff and help promote MFAT.co.uk

There have been a few threads recently where people have claimed to be able to run extremely fast, and other users have been somewhat sceptical as to the veracity of their claims.

This got me thinking, and I think I've come up with a great idea!

My idea is that when we enter any races we use our screen-name rather than our real name and put MFAT.co.uk as our club. After the race, if the results are published online then we can post a link to the results in this thread and any interested parties can see how we did.

What do you reckon?

I might even do it myself, so you can all have a giggle at my expense.

All the best.

Awesome idea!! I'm entering the Staffordshire Half-Marathon in March and would love to represent MFAT, provided I get a decent time lol

Got any links to that race? Being a Staffordshire lad my self wouldn't mind running in it, providing I’m fit and well and this next few months training goes to plan

Cheers

There's a few challenges everyone could try for.

There's one called Rising Sun which I believe is a 50 mile on bike, climb Helvelyn and then canoe across the lake.

Also there's the Tough Guy challenge at the end of Jan and in July.

Why doesn't MFAT put an order in for some t-shirts or something? Get some printed off with the good old MFAT logo or whatever and people can use them for training in? Bit of inspriation for the said person maybe? I don't know if it's practical, just a thought.

Only trouble is I expect there will be difficulty raising funds for T-Shirts.
We'll buy them. Put an MFAT shop up selling t-shirts at cost, job's a good 'un.

I'd like to see that done. :D
We've got some big arse beer drinkers at the rugby club who can get pints down their necks like a racehorse.

1.4 seconds. No exaggeration Artist?
