Hey I'm back from CTC for Christmas leave, I'm entering week 14 when I go back so if any of you have any questions about life at CTC or anything I'll do my best to help.

Dont take any stationery. I took pens, pencils, folders, pads, and when I got there it was all provided anyway.
Take about 8 wooden hangers, a good iron, a decent pair of flipflops, a few sets of civvy clothes for dossing about in, some smart civvys for going ashore in (jeans, decent t-shirt/polo shirt, clean trainers). Take some boot polish (black and a small pot of dark tan for your parade boots) and some brushes, some cotton wool balls and a duster. Just dont take too much because you dont really need it.

Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

They're stronger and they look more presentable (as far as a hanger can be). Other than that, I'm not sure.
