Waking up, Sit ups.

Okay.. I'm naughty.. My alarm goes off and I have 'just another 5 minutes' and I'm not getting motivated. During training I'm not going to have a choice and so I thought I should learn to wake up early now rather than learn the hard way. Any tips on how to wake up and get motivated early?
Second thing is when I do sit ups I find my boney arse gets sore because.. well.. it's boney and I can feel the bone ON the floor. Quite discomforting.
Any tips for both?
Ash =)

Ash,
I'm not going to slag you off because we've all been there. My trick is to put my alarm clock somwhere where I HAVE to get out of bed to turn it off. Therefore I'm up and done the hard part. Next I go the bathroom, go to the toliet and splash cold ater on my face a coupe of times. I know it's chilly but you'll soon warm up when you're doing the exercies!
Have some food and water, not too much and not too little. Just try and find what works best for you. However, if you are going to be doing some hard exercise, mae sure you eat and drink well, otherwise you will either have no energy or faint.
Have a look at this for motivation:
http://www.royalmarines.mod.uk/training ... f-mind.php I think you can still download the audio. Use the search button MFAT too, find out some tips and stuff.
On the sit-ups, I use a very flat cushion under my ass, helps a bit don't have it too big or it will effect you form.
Form is everything.. Maybe try and get hold of a gym mat?
Hope this helps.

go to the toliet and splash cold ater on my face a coupe of times.
Hope you flush that first

I'd personally just use the sink
As for pain in the arse when doing sit ups, I got a cheep foam exercise mat from JJB in my room, does a cracking job and rolls away easily too

You think I took toilet humor a little to literally?
Simple Joke for a simple person, at least that's what the teacher said

Lol good advice, I've hidden my alarm. I also set it 1 hour later than it actually is so when I wake up I think 'Woah it's 0800hrs' when really it's 0700.. Clever huh..
Plus I cut up a swimming float.. so it pads my bum nicely, ta =)

Get a girlfriend who will slap and pinch you untill you get your boney ass out of bed

Same with me, only instead of another 5minutes, it's more like, 'just another 45 minutes to an hour then BUGGER I'M LATE FOR COLLEGE!/6TH FORM!'
What I've started to do, is set my alarm clock 2 or 3 ''snoozes'' (9minutes I think) before I should be getting up, it's not a great deal easier, but you are a bit more awake so you know that you have to get up now!
And I also do what davidemmerson does with putting his alarm clock somewere away from his bed so he has to get up, but I dont splash toilet water on my face like he does
Anyways, Hope my advice helps.

I have the same problem with the sit ups, so I also got myself a gym mat. I do a LOT of sit ups so I am glad I did get one

haha.
Think about what your trying to do would be a good start.
Ok, yes position the alarm where you have to get out of bed to reach it. Then do a few pushups and splash water on your face, probably best from the sink, unless your up for some characture building..!?
As for the situps, either get a foam mat or do what i do somtimes when im not in a gym. Grab yourself a pillow or clothing etc. an put it in place so when you go back you dont crack your arse bone on the floor.

With regards to waking up early, I set my alarm on my phone with a motivational song which I like to train to, works every time for me
