Happy Birthday to the Corps

The corps was formed on the 28th Oct 1664 so many years ago to this day. Just thought I'd share it with you for those who were not aware, though I'm sure most of you knew :lol:

I for one will never forget this day as it was the one date I got wrong at the AFCO :lol:

Him: "You do know what the Royal Marine's birthday is don't you"
Me: "Yes :D October 28th 1776"

Me: "Yes October 28th 1776"
I got that one too don't worry about it mate. Can't remember the answer I gave, but I'm pretty sure I gave the wrong one. Bloody remember it now though.

I've no idea it just came out. Funny thing is I knew it was 1664, just said 1776 for some reason :lol:
