Channel 4- P Company Program

Just spotted a advert for the 1992 P-Company program on Channel 4, I think it is being show again soon all to do with 25th aneversery of Channel 4. Anyway most people will have already seen it but for those who hav'nt. Its on tonight at 10pm (2200 hours) on More 4 Channel.
This was also Channel 4's highest rated program for 1992.

It's an excellent programme, and well worth a watch. I'm pretty sure you can watch it on Channel 4's website too though, so don't worry if you miss it.

That programme alone puts the whole commando series to shame.

It's a good watch, very interesting, I loved one bit particularly was one of the candidates quotes "hard, hard as a bag of hard things."

I remember it as a cracking programme and I've kept it on video somewhere. Best bit was when one lad falls off the log and his oppos keep going - dragging his swede through the gravel. Priceless.
Nah I'm sure the bit where the Marine recruit starts crying when he gets in the jack wagon alone puts the Commando series to shame.
As a former bootneck I've some sympathy with that but times change and I'd guess that P Coy now (or at least the 'extra-curricular' stuff around it) is a bit different to what it was then. It might have more to do with that than the green/maroon rivalry (yawn).

It looks like they are leaving it there mate, there is nothing else in the TV book. I think it was a 1 off for the 25th birthday thing.

It was just the one program I'm afraid gents.
Ref my other comments, they were more to do with the quality of programming than anything else.

I downloaded the whole series from youtube a few months ago.
The links overlap so you dont miss anything.

alex4013, I think you have got the wrong end of the stick, the whole series?
This isnt the 'The Paras' from '82, this is a one off from '92 shown on channel four.

Misunderstanding there.. I said series because I had to watch it as a series from you tube.. but it was defo the dispatches all arms programme.
Remember watching it with my dad. .. he recognised the REME craftsman, (my dad was 22 years REME.)..
Can't believe I had it on video, bought from airborne shop, also had the Paras series you mentioned as well.
Sold them both on ebay.
Those gits I sold them too got a farkin bargain!!!
