Bloody well in there mate, half way... you must be chuffed! Only one slight question really, that is did you find Foundation "boring" I know a lot of people say it is quite dull etc what’s you're view’s on that?
Personally couldn't see anything at CTC being boring... but I haven't been down there yet, I’m sure my view will change after all the ironing
Best of luck

One question; are you still as Corps pissed/mad keen in week 16 as you were before it all started?
lol! umm well its been both metally and physically tough, you get massive ups and downs sometimes the bad times outweigh the good.
but yeah I am still enjoying it.. One of the main problems I think in training which makes people lose interest is that training has lost alot of tradition. I was really expecting to be around die hard marines who are booties til they die. Maybe it is different in unit but I really want to get into the PROPER mindset of a Royal.
More dits of the good ol' days is needed.

lol foundation isant that bad. The first time you go out for wets with your new oppo's is awesome. You do get bored in training trust me. I dont want to put a dampener on it all but after a while you will be pissed off with it all.
Specially when your doing pressups til you die.

but hey as I said its ups and downs. The ups are what you live for!

Thanks for the reply... wish you all the best in the next 16 weeks, shame about the loss in tradition as you put it. I guess times change though... if you don't mind me asking also, what’s been you're best bit so far?
Thanks and Good luck

1. I have had, I think 3 long weekends til now? but from this week we get to stay out all night saturday, so its pretty much a long weekend off.
2. Phys is pretty honking in the field. Specially when you get a good flanking. be prepared for some hard work. Other then that at the moment I am doing bottom field BPT phys which is with webbing, water bottle and weapon. Which is also a hangout. Its progressive though, so they build you upto it.
3. well today I. got up at 5:30.. had Dohbi, clean the grots then had breakfast.. collect weapons at 0700. went to a few lectures then had a session on bottom field. had scran bout 1:30. lectures til bout 1630 then it was our own time, did admin for the next day etc.
Thats a pretty easy day. In early weeks your non stop every minute... cracking admin til 2 in the morning etc. nod nod nod
A MNE2(recruit) gets anywhere between 700-900 a month and you are paid monthly.
