Hi, I was just wondering if the time in which you have to complete the PJFT for RAF Regiment is the same as normal RAF or is it 10min like the marines??

Cheers

RAF Careers wrote:Passing the Pre-Joining Fitness Test is just the start. The Potetntial Gunner Acquaintance Course also includes fitness tests you’ll need to pass.
Look at your thread on Military Forums too.

dude bear in mind you only have to pass the pjft as normal to get to pti selection but you wont get past itn if you cant complete 2.4km faster than 9 - 10 mins. the pjft is just a BASIC requirement

It's never the tests which do the recruits in I've heard anyway, it's when they go out in the field straight on that tab on the PGAC, completely ball bagging apparently.

I have looked at the RAF website about the PGAC, and just wanted to know if there is a specific amount of heaves / pull up's you must do? It's not stated but just wanted to make sure it's not a cheeky test they don't tell you about. lol

IF you go here mate http://www.raf.mod.uk/rafregiment/careers/pgac.cfm an go down to where it shows you how to do press ups, sit ups etc it tells you how many mate!!

Note: You will be required to perform 10 press ups in one minute at PGAC.

Note: You will be required to perform 25 sit ups in one minute at PGAC.

Havnt been able to find out what level on the shuttle run yet tho so if anyone can tell me!!

Cheers

Yeah I seen that pal cheers, was on about chin up's. It doesn't say you have to do any but it doesn't mention a tab to the over night exercise either, which I have read on here you have to do! lol

Don't know about the shuttle run (bleep test) either pal, sorry!
