Nice one mate what week you up to?

My advice would be train hard throughout summer leave as when I was in training I pissed it up over the 3 weeks and phys was a shock when I went back

Dont worry guys my PTI has that squared away LOL.
He has given the troop a training schedule to follow as the monday we start back we go on Hunters Moon! LOL so we wont have a proper phys session for about 5 weeks and they are worried our fitness is going to drop. I can see why and Im deffo not gonna let that happen after all the hard work so far.
I have just completed week 9. Had gym pass out yesterday and my troop - 946 - got a Distinguished Pass! Rather chuffed with that :D

awesome work with the passout. Hows the training so far ?, what you expected ?, or do you find it harder ?. Whats the longest run you've been on ?.

5 mile run was the longest so far, not a balls out pace though. A couple of 4 mile runs as well. 1st distinguished pass in probably at least 15 years. 8) . Knew there was a bloke from Taunton just trying to remember who you are Doughnut...

Its 'Jewish' mate....or if you havent heard the new nickname Huish LOL.

I wouldnt say we have been thrashed too badly yet to be honest. There have been a few times where I would say we were thrashed, but mostly we have just been fooked about with quick changes and extra parades ect.
However, saying that the troop below us do seem to forever be on the recieving end of some nasty sessions. Too be honest I only have experience from my troop so I've got nothing to compare it too, there are alot of long hard weeks ahead however LOL .....

947 might have the first distinguished gym passout for years, but ask em who won the tug of war contest on thursday.....948! Week 5 and we f*cking smashed everyone at tug of war :)
