After roughly a month of training now I've started to get pains in the insides of each knee, on the left of the right knee and the right of the left knee. Has anyone else also, I have £40 New Balance running trainers. Does anyone knowe what this might of been caused by maybe, and if theres anything it can help with.
Im cutting down on going to do the doc's because the more you go there with the more chance the army doc's would turn you down for problems

are you doing a lot of road running?
if so try to throw in some cross country or run on grass instead, puts less pressure on ya knees

This page has 4 possible knee injuries, see if your symptons match
runnersworld injury page
If you don't find it there then try and match your symptons
here and look through more possiblities. When you click on the injury details more in depth symptons are usually listed.
I won't give any personal advice as I couldn't possibly know whats wrong over the internet. I know you don't want to go to the doctor too early over silly little things, I'm the same, but be sensible; if you f@#k yourself up now it doesn't matter what the docs say if you can't do the phys you won't get in.
Were your shoes new when you started a month ago? And were they from a professional running shop?

Get your arse down to a doctor mate, and if necessary get referred to a physio. If you dont diagnose and treat injuries when they're fresh, theres a huge chance of them coming back to bite you in the arse, especially when you dont want them to.
Dont let it happen to you.
All the best.

Thanks for the brilliant replies people. I'm gonna wait it out for a while, if it's still there in 1 or 2 weeks time I'll see a Physio about it. If it occurs during my training or selection I'm just gonna have to grit my teeth and bare. Get it sorted out by the Army Doc's once I'm enlisted lol
Cheers
