Just trying to get a picture to slide into my affairs folder, can't remember what it's called exactly, lightweight compass.

Thanks in advance, i know this doesn't deserve a new topic.

I thought you had to buy one or is that to have a decent one?
My mate spends most of his wages on kit to have decent stuff he says

You don't use compassess in RT anymore. You get issued a GPS. Get with the times man...... Compasses are for those who cant afford GPS. Yeah.......Like we need to be able to navagate these days...Bootnecks don't need to navagate... Just follow you instincts to get you out of trouble.  Life in the Marine Commandos is very simple..... All you have is rifle in hand and combat jacket with no spare mag. Then your sent on ex without carrying a bergen. It miraculously falls from a tree when you need it and crushes the tp sgt. They the ex's are spent loafing over a burning hexi feeling sorry for yourself.
