Asthma

I've asked questions about this before anid I've had mixed replies. (And I have searched
)
I found out today that it's actually only been 2 years this august since I was given an inhaler, which I never used and it was never actually diagnosed as asthma. (something to do with an allergy (hayfever apparently)
I rang my local AFCO up to day and was told that they have this sort of thing all the time and that they treat each individual case seperately and it would be between me and the doc as to whether I would pass my medical, and they may need past medical records and I'd probably have to try and prove that I didn't use the inhaler or need it then/ anymore. The AFCO said it wouldn't stop me applying before the four years are up but it could cause problems at the medical.
I was just wondering wether anyone else had had similar experiences as I didn't want to have to wait that long as it is a year after I finish my A-levels. I mean what am I going to do for a year i'd go mad.
It wouldn't be the end of the world I suppose i'd just get mega fit but I should be mega fit by then anyway
And just to check Hayfever is Ok if it is controllable, right?
Cheers for any help,
Matt
