"Look at life" course

I got back from one of these Thursday, it was with the army (Royal Anglian Regiment, infantry) but i seriously reccommend it if your thinking of joining the marines. It really gives you an insight into what it's like. Loads of things going on to name a few we did 2.4k run, night recce patrol, simulated attack on an enemy position. Unfortunately there were a few idle wnkers in our group who got the rest of us lots of pressups but i spose it adds to the experience
Seriously, before you start any sort of application process go on one of these.

I did something similar with the anglians (vikings) in oct 2000 (I had my PRMC in the Nov and joined Feb 01), certainly a good thing to do

I did a look at life course as well, back last January with the PWRR at Longleet I believe it was. It was an interesting experience to say the least, hated some of the beastings because I wasnt that fit but I knew from that moment on, Im not backing down from it, I was hooked.

It was amazing how unprepared some people were, one got a 2.4k time of 20 mins

and about 4 others got 16-17 mins.

Mephis, Just a quick question, why don't you think your fit enough for prmc? 3 miles in under 18 mins?! You have 23 mins on prmc.[/quote]

10.8 is ok, unless you have to get over lvl 11 because of a low mech comp score. On my prmc one lad dropped out at 8.8 although he had already failed, the average score was between 10.4 and 11.7, only 3 if i remember correctly passed lvl 12, i wouldn't worry to much, just give it your all...

When you do your recriut test's there's a section called mechanical comprehension, if you score low on that you have to achieve higher then lvl 11 on the bleep test at prmc..
Yes i passed my prmc.
