Making comments above your station

It seems to me theres a lot of bods here who are not marines themselves yet; indeed some who have not even started RT yet - who seem to think they are in a position to make derogatory statements about the army.

You can make all the ignorant statements you want when your in a position to back them up. You can throw about all the banter you want when you've earned the right to.

Until then, wind your f**king necks in.

Does this guy never learn?! :o

Find something better to post about. Something serious that's actually about RM training!

Royal Marines - General Discussions, Joining & Training

When you've earned a little bit about respect, humour and humility, come back and talk to me.

No need to get upset spooks. I guess some people do get carried away and start the "My regiment is better than your Regiment argument", but hasn't that always been a part of military life?

It annoys me when people slag the Army off and the American military. Everyone is doing there little bit to make things better, in my eyes a soldier is worth 10 pot bellied fat cat chief execs from civvie street, unsung heros and that!

What a useless post?

I dont think the Army is ever mentioned on here. Barely ever.

Im quite calm. Ive no drama with the "My regiment is better than your Regiment" thing; its that the people I refer to in this case don't yet have a regiment (or commando in this case) - merely people who 'want' to be in or are in the process of doing so but have not yet earned the title.

Have a look in the Army commando thread.

And a point on attention to detail: you may 'think' the army is barely ever mentioned *here* - clearly you don't *know* that its not.

Suppositions are not to be relied on.

Other point to note: its also so far only the bootie wannabees who object to this post. How ironic.

How does that relate in any way to the original post's point and my reply to you?

Did you even read the origina; post? And who it was aimed at?

Go away and try again.

There are differant forums for differant areas of the military, why are you posting things about the Army in the RM forum?

I come on this site to learn and get info on RM , I just see your original post completley pointless and nothing to do with RM.
