i went in smart civvies, i was told there is no need for shirt and tie, depends on your afco i think

Yeah I just went in smart civvies (ie smart jeans and tshirt).

I went in a jogging track suit.
Its only a little talk so there is no need to look like your are going to meet the Queen or something like that.
No guy in my brief was looking sharp, they looked like they wear going training, or in there everyday clothes.

you should go in a tie and jacket as when you arrive it sends out a good impression, remember theres nothing like a first impression and also on the rm website it says to travel in smart dress eg tie ,shirt

I will be wearing a business suit. You might aswell put in the effort to get a few extra points.

Well if it's the PRMC brief it will actually be more like the fifth impression... Everyone was casually dressed on mine (about 15 people).
